Looking good! I see you bought acrylic paints and sponges, most likely for your weathering? Consider using hair spray and fullers earth/tile grout instead, That's what most of us local Sandies have used. It gives a much more realistic weathering effect, IMO. Trooperbay has a good tutorial:

I thought about that, but I’m going to use some of my college Commercial Art Degree and go with the same technique that Pandatrooper uses. But thanks for the suggestion!

One thing to think about is consistency with other sandy's in the garrison since we all used hairspray and fuller's earth/grout. Screen used suits weren't painted. You've already joined mepd.net correct?

Yeah I know...I've been actively trolling.  I don't have to have an TK/TD ID to join?  I wasn't sure what the correct protocol is for this (I'm still a newb' at all this LOL).

Nope you could sign up and see most parts of the site

Armor party was a blast! Shout out to djrue for hosting! Got a ton accomplished...so, on another note: my screen name LOL it’s M-A-C...just like you all call Kris H “chief”, well that’s what I am too. Master-at-Arms Chief (MAC)...but enough of that, I’m hoping to have a TK id soon! On to the Picts!

I used a flat head to get them bent out a little just enough to get the tip of a philips head in then taped that down. This opened them enough for me to then hammer them down flat with a smaller hammer head.
