  1. Even though I built a Sandy, feel free to check out my thread... For my shins, I put Velcro at the the bottom front and back of my TK Boots (Imperial Boots, very comfortable BTW) so my shins don't roll around. Hope this helps. Dan
  2. Sorry...here is what it looks like... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Looks great! Tip on the hand plates... I have a set of Nomex Flight gloves; since they are “flame resistant” I took a heat gun to my plates and basically, with my nomex gloves, formed them to the back of my hands... ...then, I sewed nylon strapping to the elastic prior to CA gluing to the hand plate; the nylon is so the glue can bond to the abs... 4. So I am running an iComm with an Aker 1506 mounted in my chest...so far it’s been very reliable and I’ve not had any feedback issues. I also tried the TrooperTalk app for iPod and found that although it is versatile I could not reconcile the major feedback issues I kept having. I would recommend the iComm...
  5. My neck seal only took a week and half, if I recall correctly!
  6. Link for neckseal...I love mine! https://www.facebook.com/theimperialseamstress/?fb_dtsg_ag=Ady3qbXnFUfH2stCadBvxuV9Fw-_HCAvghGjW9hF4qoPmQ%3AAdz3dbYhEiR2JC5kuNeVR69gtJSkl_sr0G_pA9lBkArK_A
  7. The Imperial Seamstress works with them for neck seals...so I think that they are a good bet, although, and my Garrison mates can vouch for me, I troop for HOURS on end, and I find my TK Classic's from Imperial Boots are very comfortable!
  8. Ok...finally posting up my Inland Empire Armory T-21 weathering pictures. Did some mods based off real Lewis Gun pictures; Folk Art acrylics metallic Gunmetal and Silver dry brushing techniques followed by washes of Liquatex acrylic Burnt Umber and Mars Black. I also made a padded case to pack it around in so I wouldn’t have to answer some very awkward questions from the local LE types [emoji41] Before... After... Case... All in all, I think it matches up with my “worn” look rather well! [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Ok...I'll look up my Amazon purchase history for my undersuit stuff and leather gloves and share it with you...Did you get boots already? I went with Imperial Boots; very impressed, and since I tend to troop for hours on end, they are actually quite comfy. They are made like my dress uniform white shoes.
  10. Thanks! Let me know if you need any help...I also have a lot of the french blue/gloss black enamel paint if you need it!

  21. ...and then...it’s done! Domo-arigatogozaimas to Victor S. For his guidance through this process! Apparently I’ve set some kind of build record [emoji848]? Let me know how I did...now I can’t wait for my TD#! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
