Impatience
Any recommendations on a brand/type of sealing iron to be used on armor? Also, looks like most of them don't come with the sock, should I be purchasing that?
Stutz
Any brand will do. And yes, you will need the sock. Otherwise the iron will stick to the melted plastic. http://www.amazon.com/Top-Flite-TOPR2100-Sealing-Iron/dp/B000X4RXR6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1448214071&sr=8-1&keywords=hobby+iron http://www.amazon.com/Top-Flite-Sock-Iron-Cover/dp/B000X4N0Y6/ref=pd_bxgy_21_img_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=1T75CCNB77FN856KF13H

khazara
I've got one that was recommended to me, the brand is Hangar 9. Haven't used it though. I was going to put return edges on my biker scout armor but I haven't done so, not sure if I will now as it will make the armor smaller. Impatience
Decided to bust out some scrap and try the sealing iron out. Made a nice curved return edge on a wonky piece of scrap. Turned out pretty damn good if you ask me. Now just some finer sanding and perhaps some Novus and it should look nice Thanks for the tips guys!
