But here are the notes I was able to capture: Multi-Club meeting 1/27/24 Notes: 501st Legion Elections · Elections are for Legion CO, Local Unit (Garrison) CO, and Detachment Leaders · Nominations start Sunday 1/28 at 4:00pm local time x 5 days · Then Q&A Session x 5 days. The LCO is on the 501st Forum and can be very informative, but a lot of reading. We encourage everyone to participate in Legion, Garrison, and Detachment elections. · Then Voting x 5 days · Using a “Choice Ranked” system of voting: Where you need to rank all of the candidates in order of your preference. If you specifically don’t want someone to win, you rank them last. · We want high participation because there is a record of the % turn out by other Garrisons. · Troopers of the Month programs are going on for both ISG and the Legion: Please nominate people because ISG TotM is where we determine the Trooper of the Year. · If anyone wants to be considered for hosting an Armor Party from time to time please contact Chelsea Mazur. Events: · “Night to Shine Troop: Special Needs Prom February 9th. · “Blue & Gold” Scout Troop: Short troop February 10th · Gulls Game Sign ups close Feb 9th, Event will be February 17th · Sockers Game sign-up close January 31st, Event will be March 1st · Always need wranglers. · NAFEC Air Show: Saturday March 9th: o Sign-Ups are live now o Carbon Copy schedule of last year’s event. o If interested even a little bit in staying overnight, you need to complete the security form. · May 4th is on a Saturday this year. Getting lots of requests already. Mandos (Terry) · Local elections end today but only one nominee: Congratulations to Victor! Rebels (Jeff) · Probation passed for the first 6 months. · RL Census is starting, make sure you do it. It ends March 31st. · Can now start marketing materials. · Started with 45 members, but 5 new members have joined.
