  1. Plus one on that etsy link dean posted. I bought ten of those boxes and they're perfect. Shipped quick too
  2. Flashlight version is Rogue One, without is ANH
  3. Here are photos of four of our Sandys for reference. There's slight varaiance between us but not too drastic.
  4. Looks a little heavy on the weathering. I used hairspray and splattered fuller's earth. This technique will allow you to add/subtract as needed. Best point of reference are always screen captures from A New Hope. You'll see that the troopers aren't that heavily weathered. It's also a good idea to somewhat match the weathering of the rest of us in the Garrison.

    Almost there

Welcome Angelo. Looking forward to seeing more sandys.
  6. But you're not RU! I M RUE!! Ha! Welcome aboard bud.
  7. I'll take the snaps. And maybe some of the 1.5" & 2" webbing. Not sure how much I need of each though.
  8. Right on! We need another FOTK.
  9. Yeah I did mine through the ears but had to put a wall of e6000 to have it "float" in the ear so that it would lessen the vibration pick up.

    Hi!

Hey Christina, Welcome. I saw that you signed up on the Imperial Officer forums as well. My wife and I are working on Juno Eclipse and are pretty close to submitting. Let us know if we can help.
  11. Excellent points. Big ones are points 1 and 2. Ask first. I'd also like to add - Check the CRL first. Make sure the pieces you're eyeing are accurate to the costume you're building.
  12. Now let's finish up that ROTJ kit and get it approved.
  13. Holiday? As in Holiday wrangler/photog Holiday? Awesome, didn't know you were working on a TK. Welcome
  14. Aker is gonna give you louder sound when needed. Mic tips have limited output. I switched to the 1506 from the 1508 because it's smaller. On my sandy I put it in my shoulder pouch.
  15. Agree with Dean ^ wired in place works best. I've had pretty decent success with the wireless mic and aker amp so far. I was previously using an icomm for static burst but ditched it because it's just too loud. Tried using the tkvoice app but it has a delay. Bluetooth headphone and receiver I got on Amazon but that too has a delay. I thought that would make it easier to put headphones on without an extra wire hanging down but I think I'll be going back to wired. The hearing assist I got on white armor from UKSwrath but you can get a kit on Amazon for under $20.
  16. I have a similar set up to Marcus. Two fans, wireless mic, hearing aids with Bluetooth earbuds...
  17. How tall are you? I just so happen to have an FOTK undersuit in size Large from stormtrooperundersuits that is too small for me.
  18. Did you ever submit your approval pics? I have an F-11D but it's not painted yet.
  19. MTK is a great kit. Looks pretty good so far. I'm a fan of the authentic bracket strapping system. I'm assuming that top middle bracket on our kidney isn't screwed on one side since it's misaligned. Is there a reason why the buttons for your belt aren't even? Doesn't matter really just curious
  20. Right on Eli!! My kit should be arriving soon so I'm no help. I saw in the whitearmor forums that you were having issues with the gaskets. Usable or nah?
  21. Did your kit show up yet? I'd like to check it out.
  22. Right on! I saw that posted and didn't last long at all. He wanted a pretty penny a few months back. You could be the first FOTK in our garrison before Scott and myself. Awesome! I'm glad I won't be alone. Are any of you guys going to comic con? Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk No tickets (yet) but I'll def be at the 501st party the Friday of con.

  24. Awesome. One of the more simpler neck seal tutorials that actually makes it seem do-able by a novice. Thank you.
