  1. We'd love to have you troop with us! Are you the "Todd's Costumes" Todd? If so, much of my Han Solo costume is thanks to you [emoji1] Khazara aka Other Todd
  2. Nice intro, Ryan. Brandon's a great guy and a highly supportive member of the Legion, glad to hear your love of Star Wars and volunteering brought you here. Good luck on your application process and we look forward to having you join us!
  3. Go ahead and do whatever works for everyone else. if I happen to finish up @ work early enough I'll reach out to see if the group is still out. Chances are looking slim though.
  4. I would love to try make it but depends on how late I'll be at work. Old Town is a great recommendation, wonderful Mexican cuisine. (Although Tuesdays are "Taco Tuesday" and most places will have $1 off their tacos!)
  5. Looking forward to having another Scout with us! Here is a pic of me, Robert, and Carol at Legoland. I'd say we are the most active scouts in the garrison, feel free to find any of us (depending on who's attending) and we can help out I'm sure. I will be there but only for maybe a half hour in the morning.
  6. Anyone planning to FaceBook Live the meeting, perhaps? With the meeting changing to 2pm I'll miss it, unfortunately. I'll still be there in the morning to drop off the TIE patches.
  7. I'll be there. Will there be a good opportunity for taking photos? (Plain background and someone with a nice camera?) I would like to take trading card shots for my TIE Pilot and RL application photos for ANH Han Solo.
  8. More seasoned veterans please correct me on the process, but I believe a new CRL is driven by somebody, or a team of somebodies, researching the details and making a costume which is then used as the CRL model, working with the Legion membership officer. I'm guessing the Pretorian Guard costume would be in the Sovereign Protectors detachment same as the Royal Guards, so there might be some WIP / CRL development posted in those forums.
  9. Fistbump to a fellow TB. Bringing your armor with you? ;-)
  10. Condolences on your recent family passings :'-(
  11. I plan on attending for the meeting. Had to put the TK build on hold while I do a Halloween costume build.
  12. I'm a scout myself, we definitely welcome more tree dodgers to our ranks!
  13. With my Scout, I use the icomm and Aker from voicebooster.com. I think if you find a 501st forum thread you can get a discount as a 501st member. I use the included wired headset. Last year a 501st member created an app called TKVoice. I haven't used it but it's another option that you can research, it's an app for use with with an iPhone instead of needing another piece of hardware like icomm or romfx.
  14. Nope wasn't me (Todd - TB-10078), I'm not at the Trek con this year. I saw that Stuart Loui met you, he posted this pic to his FB. He's a TIE pilot and Gunner.
  15. Oooh ARC trooper, I love those guys.
  16. The code disc doesn't look quite accurate to me on both the belt & hat. They might be easily replaced though... Boots look great.

    Hello all

Hi Andy, future scout brother! I'm a little tied up through Wondercon and Celebration Orlando, but would be happy to help a new Scout get into our ranks!
  19. Have you checked out the Imperial Officer Corps detachment forums? Howard Smart has several officer costumes and may have some info. I believe some have successfully used Toddscostumes.com's Han Solo boots @ $200.
  20. Hiya Doug! Hope to troop with ya! Todd (Other Todd)
  21. Hi Jacob, glad you made it over to the ISG forums after introducing yourself on the Pathfinders board. Bikerscout.net has awesome detailed build threads and should be your primary reference, but there are several of us scouts locally to help should you need assistance. I personally won't be able to attend the next armor party that Todd (PunkRocketScience) mentioned, however, but I do recommend attending some of these types of events if you can, to meet some of our members and see some build techniques first hand.
  22. It was nice meeting you both! Glad you were able to make it. Other Todd
  23. I'm always looking for fellow Scouts to troop with! :-)
