I have been working on my fist TK for the almost 1 month now.  My mentor Brian Gelb and I, have my torso and arms almost done.  This is what we have so far.

I would love any and all suggestions on any improvements I can make.

Thanks :)

Manda

Looks great!

Tip on the hand plates...

I have a set of Nomex Flight gloves; since they are “flame resistant” I took a heat gun to my plates and basically, with my nomex gloves, formed them to the back of my hands...

...then, I sewed nylon strapping to the elastic prior to CA gluing to the hand plate; the nylon is so the glue can bond to the abs...

I shortened my forearms 1/2 inch and added an elasctic strip between them and my biceps.  Now I don't get pinched when I bend my arms and the forearm doesn't fall to my hands.  I really like the way your hand plates are formed to you.  Great tip! I will see if Brian will be willing to help me with that.
