Commander_Cody
So I have this idea that I've seen really complex versions of but I think it can be simplified. It's an earpiece/ microphone set up that allows you to hear outside your helmet easier if you have thicker padding in your bucket like I do. Something like a small microphone from the mic-tip or anywhere outside the helmet that can be hidden, running to a small earpiece that won't fall out with a helmet on. Like I said I've seen some really complex home made versions of this idea made and implented but I think it can be easier. OR if someone knows of a microphone that can be connected to wired or Bluetooth headphones. Thanks! PunkRocketScience
UKSwrath has a hearing assist system. I haven't actually used it or heard feedback from anyone who has, but it might be easier than sourcing it yourself? https://www.501st.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=87783
octrooper
I have the UKWraith. Works great. The trick is to figure a away to have access to the volume control while your trooping to adjust it for different ambient noise levels
Commander_Cody
It's just a plug and play system right? I don't need anything outside of what comes with his kit? I'm not tech savvy at all so splicing and soldering wires and everything is not in my wheelhouse I have the UKWraith. Works great. But You'll need to figure out how and where to mount the mics and the sound board. Also you'll need to pic speakers or headphones.
