Hi guys. I was at the Comic Con panel last night and got inspired to come here. I'm one of those foolish guys that finished not one, but two builds before getting any help. It was a self-punishing experience. The one thing I have going for me is that I at least followed the CRLs and got solid recommendations on vendors for soft parts. Anyway, the panel was fantastic and reinforced what I already know: I have a lot to learn.
I have an inexplicable affinity for OT gunners, so that's where I started. Taking advantage of the soft parts, I then finished a Tie pilot. I'm hoping to eventually get 501st approval and continue the journey. I also have an OT TK commission that should be here in another month or 2. In the meantime, I put together a Field Marshal E11 kit, which is really amazing btw. Jumping in like this is pretty ambitious, I know, but my mid life crisis hit and I'm having too much fun to stop.
I'm hoping to attend the next armor party and getting my gunner and tie helmets dialed in. Looking forward to learning from you all and maybe trooping along side you someday.
