Hi! Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Stevan and I am in the process of making my Biker Scout costume with the hopes of 501st approval. Biker scouts have been my favorite Stormtrooper since I was a child in the 80's and I have always wanted a professional costume. Building your own costumes has always been very important to me as I feel it gives you a much closer connection to the character you are trying to portray as well as a since of pride and joy in sharing your art with the world. After years I finally broke down and purchased a 3D printer and printed out my helmet and have begun the laborious work of making my bucket. It is with great joy that I come to you not only in hopes of advice and guidance in my journey to get my consume completed but to become a member of the 501st as well as an active member of the Imperial Sands Garrison!
A little about me, I am currently an adjunct drawing and painting instructor for multiple colleges throughout Southern Califonria. I have shown my paintings in San Diego, LA and Pacifica California as well as in a KPBS documentary. Prior to that I have been a bartender and bar manager for a bar in San Diego for over 16 years. I moved to San Diego in 2003 from Kansas City, Missouri with only $650 in my pocket and a dream of living in California. I love cooking and anything food in general and it's a daily struggle to stay as skinny as I am. My favorite foods are BBQ but I have yet to find a place in San Diego I really like.
I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone on here and can't wait for all this Covid stuff to be over so we can all meet in person someday!
