Does anybody here have experience working with leather boots? I order a pair of WWII German Jack Boots for my Tie Pilot. I knew they were not going to be perfect, but I thought they were going to come in a better condition. Structurally they are good nothing ripped or falling apart, they just don't look "pretty". Also they are very, VERY tight around my legs (foot size is perfect) so I have to see about getting those stretched out. Can anybody help out or recommend a good shoe repair place?

I should be there. I want to work on my Tie reserve belt..

yea already checked out Wampa Wear. But they are currently sold out LoL

speaking of.. What's a good option for a flight suit? I would like to do a reserve pilot for my self. On days when I don't feel like wearing a mask or bucket..

I am bringing my son to con tomorrow and he wants to wear his Vader so I want to make some sound clips for him.. Does anybody know where I can get some voice clips and breathing clips?

Hi there Chris!
A lot of people use a little bit of sintra inside it, or some very thicki/stiff interfacing to make it like a flat cod inside the fabric.
I NEVER would have thought of that... I might have to give that a try...

I have the Memorex wireless headset from Voicebooster. It's great not having to worry about wires. Only thing I would change is the mic itself...the Aker ones are better imo.
I have that one also.. But I have never been able to get it to work correctly...

So we all know about that standard amp and mic set up we use for our costumes.. Has anybody heard of a blue tooth setup? This way there is no wires??
Just want to double check my grommet placement.

I am working on a non SW costume. It involves two part leather spats.. The back part wraps around the front holding it in place but I want to reinforce it by adding in some grommets so I can lace them up the back. I just want to double check the number and placement.
