  1. Hey all.  I've repeatedly tried to do the Troop Tracker here but always seem to get stopped by the last step, where it asks for photos.  As I'm usually in armor, without access to my phone, I rarely have the chance to take pictures, and in the last few years I've only seen photos posted once or twice out of dozens of troops.

I'd like to suggest that the POC for any event take on the responsibility of posting photos of the ISG members participating in the event as part of the Mission Report process, to help promote the ability for us to log these troops and participate in the Troop Tracker.  Seems to be a reasonable task for someone taking responsibility for the troop.  And it would definitely encourage more folks to do the Troop Tracker if we could get past that "show a picture" hurdle.

  2. Hey all.  For those caffeine aficionados that have noticed that there is now a repeatedly screen used prop for an Imperial coffee mug showing up on the Mandalorean, Andor, and other Star Wars shows, and you want to build your own, here's the info:

Yes, let's call it a "build".  For those whom have never built a prop before, this will take you approximately 30 seconds once you have the necessary parts.

You need the appropriate mug, and a 4" long strip of 1/2" wide chrome vehicle trim with heavy duty adhesive tape to secure it.

Here's the amazon link to the mug itself:

The 1/2" wide chrome vehicle trim only comes in 16 foot lengths, and you only need 4" of it for each mug.  I've already got the 16 foot spool and used it for my two caf tumblers, so there's enough left for 46 more mugs to be made with this.  I'm happy to bring the spool to armor parties and let folks have at it.  If you want to toss a coin to your witcher, great.  If not, no worries.  Happy to share!

The chrome strip, as mentioned, needs to be cut to a 4" length, and positioned 1/2" from the bottom edge of the mug, which also places its top edge 1/2" from the edge of the indent above where it sits, covering the lettering imprinted on the mug, which could read "coffee" or "aquaphile" or something else.  There are several versions of the print on the same mug, but all the lettering fits under the strip just fine.

The chrome strip already has 3M body molding tape on it which is more than adequate to keep it secure.  You will not be able to wash this in a machine - hand wash only!

    CAF - FOR THE EMPIRE.

  3. I think Disciplinary Action #5 should be added, including a provision that the offender has to make home baked chocolate chip cookies, to be quality tested by the Cookie Monster Trooper, before restoration of forum privileges.
