New weathering looks great! Seeing this helmet progress makes me wish I didn't trade off my movie style clone helmet.

Hello and welcome! If I remember correctly from the time i was researching for my TK, its mostly to do with the helmet. Hero had bubble lens, different ears and smaller frown, the helmets were also made from ABS vs HDPE for more cleaner close up shots and then later used for promotional materials. Here's a cool photo of the difference in helmets. Like most things in Star Wars, the side gears were from an "model engine kit" I believe, so production crew probably just had a bunch of these or cast them but they would have all been plastic and glued on. Yes, drilling speaker holes would be non-approvable but the plastic should be "thin" enough if you wanted to put a speaker in for the sound to come though.

Ayne and Myself will be attending. We will see what we will make to bring. We would both love to be a Secret Santa.

Finally will be able to make an AP! Been losing motivation lately and seeing people working on projects hopefully will get me out of that rut.

Sadly, I wont be able to make it, been sick for a bit and dont want to be a outbreak monkey at the build. Would there be templates later down the line since I was hoping to finally make a weapon for my Tusken. Or if anyone could make one if they have time ill add my 20 to my build and something extra for the builder =)
